The Director will provide leadership and staff support to a highly-structured group of cross sector stakeholders to implement initiative activities and will work with CCAP staff to establish the backbone infrastructure required to manage OneCranston over the coming decade. Employing a Collective Impact approach, the Director will: Manage the OneCranston implementation plan, Increase community Engagement, Mutally reinforcing activities, develop shared measurements and enhance communications across partnerships.
A BA or BSW degree or advance degree in business, public administration social work or related field.and a minimum of 5 years relevant community work experience in the following areas: community / economic development, workforce development, public administration, human services, urban planning, community organizing or a related field. Experience in building consensus, working in complex collaborative environments, demonstrated project management skills, experience engaging in policy and systems change, strong oral and written communication skills, grant writing skills and must be culturally competent and value diversity, equity, and cultural differences. Familiarity with the City of Cranston and the City's neighborhoods.
This position is a full time position based at CCAP in Cranston, RI. Starting Salary is $55,000. Competetive benefits package.
