Thundermist Health Center is seeking Candidates for the Position of Associate Vice President of Communications and Development. Thundermist is a well-established multi-site, multi-community, HRSA funded community health center with primary care sites in northern, central and southern Rhode Island. All three Thundermisth medical facilities are certified as Patient-Centered Medical Homes by the National Committee For Quality Assurance (NCQA). Thundermist has an annual operating budget of 40 million dollars a year, a staff of 480 and serves 42,000 patients with over 127,000 primary care encounters per year.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, The Associate Vice President of Communications and Development will fulfill a key role in the design and implementation of marketing and communications strategies for the advancement of Thundermist goals. Guided by Thundermist values of Caring, Community, Excellence, Innovation, and Integrity, this leader will also develop and implement fundraising initiatives in support of the agency's growth.
Qualified candidates will have senior management experience and at least ten years of experience in marketing, communications and/or fundraising. This experience would include a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with organizational leaders and all levels of the leadership team.
